Locket of Lucas Jaime

When Luna and Lucas Jaime passed away, their two kids Nuit and Soliel were inherited multiple things. One thing in particular that was given to Soliel was a necklace that belonged to her father. This necklace is a premier diamond locket, with a diamond star on the front with an engraved L.

Appearance:

The locket itself is premier diamond in a heart shape. Inside are two pictures. One side has a picture of Lucas and Luna on their wedding day, and the other is Lucas, Luna, Nuit, and Soliel all huddled for a family photo. This was taken when Soliel was young, roughly around 7.

Missing Necklace

On October 14th, An hour after the shooting at the concert Lucas and Luna attended to, Soliel called Lucas's phone in hopes he was okay. Instead an officer had answered and asked who was calling. When the police arrived to the house, they asked her to remember what her parents looked like. Soliel gave a clear description of the couple, with one note: Both parents had matching necklaces.
On October 15th, Police sent out a reward warrant for the necklace. People would come into the police station with necklaces of different sizes and pictures of the necklace, but Soliel denied them all, stating a simple "I know a secret with the necklace, and none of these are it." Two people came in shortly afterwards, showing a similar necklace with an engraved L on it, but was denied as well.
As police kept searching for the necklace, a pawn shop called in and said that she might have the necklace. Police quickly went to the shop with Soliel to confirm or deny once more. Soliel gave it one look and determined it was her dad's missing necklace. When the police asked for the person's name of who pawned the necklace, the woman gave no hesitation to give the officers the name.

The Secret

When the court took place with the suspect, Soliel, and Nuit, the two kids were calm and quiet. After thirty minutes of no avail, the police were beginning to feel like they had got the wrong person. The judge was beginning to wrap things up when Soliel stood up and stopped the judge.

"I know for a fact that's my father's necklace. There's a secret that only my family and I know, since he never showed it or spoke about it in front of anyone."

The police handed Soliel the necklace, where she stood in front of everyone. She pressed on the 'L' of the heart, where it popped open, revealing the photos. The audience had gasped and the judge quickly ruled in Soliel's favor, arresting the suspect who stole the necklace. After a brief second trial, the police confirmed that the suspect was not the same person who cut the parents's lives short, leaving this case open.

Significance

The locket is a personal significance to Soliel and Nuit, due to it being their parents's last thing they have of theirs besides the house.
