Lumiriel

From the 5th chapter of the Ancient Book

In the sacred canon of Eleazel's revelation, it is written of Lumirel, the Angel of Awakening, whose presence is of splendor and mystery. One bare foot rests upon the pathways of the firmament, marking his journey between the divine spheres and the eternal cycle of the heavens. The other foot, clad in a celestial sandal, treads upon the impure paths of the world to aid mankind.
Lumirel, the faithful servant of Eleazel, is the one who crosses the borders of dawn and dusk, of light and shadow. He—having donned the sandal to keep his foot that touches the realm of men unsoiled—cradles the chosen ones, those who sleep the sleep of ignorance, not yet awakened to the eternal truth. They are like children in the womb of the world, unaware of the destiny that awaits them in the light of the Everlasting Sun.
With wings that sweep the veils of night and capture the rays of dawn, Lumirel ascends towards the sun. It is his gentle touch that stirs the soul from lethargy, his voice, a sweet melody that shatters the silence of mortal slumber. And thus, the awakening begins: eyes that open no longer see the fog of earthly existence, but the dawn of endless glory.
By the will of our Lord Eleazel, he is the first herald of the morning, the announcer of the day. And so, the children of Eleazel gaze into the sky, searching for Lumirel.
