The Maker

The Cult of the Maker: The Archangel of Occult and Esoteric Knowledge

The Maker is perhaps the most enigmatic and least understood of the Archangels in Agland. He presides over occult, esoteric knowledge and the unseen realities that lurk behind the veil of the tangible world. This archangel serves as a guide for those who seek to unravel the deepest and most hidden mysteries, often ventured into by only a select few. The Cult of the Maker delves into the realms of esotericism, ritualism, and arcane sciences. Its priests and followers dedicate themselves to the study of ancient texts, theurgical and ascetic practices, and the understanding of invisible forces that influence the world. Through meditation, complex rituals, and in-depth studies, they aim to unlock the hidden secrets of the universe for human comprehension. Followers of the Maker are seen as custodians of knowledge that transcends conventional understanding. They believe that beyond the physical realm lies a deeper, more intricate fabric of reality, accessible only through the disciplined pursuit of esoteric wisdom. This journey is not for the faint-hearted; it requires dedication, humility, and a relentless quest for truth.   The rituals and practices of the Cult of the Maker are shrouded in secrecy, known only to those within its inner circle. These rites are believed to facilitate a deeper connection with the divine, allowing practitioners to tap into the latent powers of creation and manipulation of the fabric of reality. The Cult's sacred spaces are filled with symbols and artifacts that represent the complex interplay of forces governed by the Maker, serving as tools for their esoteric practices.   The Maker Cathedral in Honadir is a place accessible only to its priests and worshippers who have received an initiation taking some vows.

The Church of The Maker in Honadir

Few can participate in the Archangel's rituals at the heart of his cathedral in Honadir, but everyone can access the side chapel. The side chapel of the church, dedicated to the Archangel Maker, is a little gem of stained glass and stone, and is dedicated to all those who, although not part of the close circle of clergy, wish to dedicate a prayer to the Archangel or ask for His benevolence.
Good Luck stones are the most common symbol among the faithful who have not taken vows, and are kept in their pockets or - with a necklace - around their necks.
