Half-Orc Lore

     Half-Orcs are the offspring between Orcs that have abandoned the Old Ways, and have joined civilization, and the common folk. These Half-Orcs seem more inclined than their Orcish parents to investigate the Old Ways, but often won't ever pursue it. As time goes on, Half-Orcs become more and more common. Half-Orcs are often raised in the Church of the Defender.

     Half-Orcs are yet another half race that exists within the world of Améow Half-Orcs are the offspring between Orcs that have abandoned the Old Ways, and have joined civilization, and the common folk. These Half-Orcs seem more inclined than their Orcish parents to investigate the Old Ways, but often won't ever pursue it. As time goes on, Half-Orcs become more and more common. Half-Orcs are often raised in the Church of the Defender., they being the result of the mixing of Orcish blood and Human blood. At this time there is no alternative name for them, as, like the Half-Elves, the Half-Orcs are a somewhat new race, only having been born in more recent years as Orcs who travel across Gelrick sometimes become uninfatuated with The Old Ways, and therefore seek something else, which leads them to travel to the human cities on the continent of Gelrick, eventually having some mixture of the bloods. These Orcs and Half-Orcs are often vehemently against The Old Ways, and are the most harsh against that system of belief and the people who worship it than even the priests themselves of The Defender. This often leads to some hostilities in the cities when the Orcish tribes wander to, and stay in a city for a time. Aside for this, the history of the Half-Orcs is not yet made, as the Half-Orcs have not yet defined their legacy.
