Aurupladi
The Aurupladi describes thr extent of the plains that stretches east to the mountains of Mustanir westward the Nightwood. North of the Aurupladi is the Folding Ruin. South of the Aurupladi lies the coastline bordering the Everbloom Sea.
The Aurupladi represents a territory that is thousands of square miles. The flat lands are broken by periodic hills and sunken channels. While the Eastern reaches of the Aurupladi are spotted with Mustaniri settlements, the Aurupladi is largely claimed by the roaming beasts.
Climate
Before the world started turning, the breadth of the Aurupladi stretched from approximate times of 8 a.m to 5 a.m. With the temperatures falling between 40° F and 70° F, the Aurupladi is swept with harsh winds that makes the climate feel much cooler. During seasonal changes, the temperatures plunge a further 20° F, bringing snow and blizzards that wash over the expanse. This has largely prevented settlers from pursuing much farther from the Eastern fringe.
History
When the hordes swept in from the Folding Ruin, the Taladin fled East, leaving the Aurupladi largely unexplored. Tribes of Taladin and dwarves would eventually embark westward from Mustanir seeking wealth and new territory. Facing inclimate weather and fading lights, the explorers returned to the East of the Aurupladi and made settlements. Over time, these explorers would return to the Aurupladi. As cartographers sought to map the region, they came across a large collection of ore that protruded from the plains. Harvesting what they could, they marked the place and vowed to return.
The eventual return of a mining collective called the Sladfeyn, would create the Saldfeyn mine. With ores being plentiful the work at the Sladfeyn would continue to grow. Sladfeyn would draw thousands of workers that built a large city around the ever deepening mine. The discovery of a large eye at the deepest parts of the mine would give the name Aynsharya to Sladfeyn. Aynsharya would be the place of pilgrimage for many thousands of years. Eventually, Aynsharya would fall into ruin.
After events would cause many in the Aynsharya to perish, the city would be quickly abandoned. Rumors of the creeping blight and roaming Autarchs would dissuade further encroachments toward the western reaches of the Aurupladi. As Mustanir wrestles with wandering dead, the Aurupladi hides its treasures.
Beyond the eyes of the Taladin, on the western edge of the Aurupladi, elves make their watch. As elves repel the encroaching blight, they protect the great sanctuaries of Zamigdral. The first of the Taladin found Zamigdral in the Dandandekaden forest, they were taught the ways of growth and rebirth. As the Taladin stretched nearer, Zamigdral feared for her sanctuary. Many of the elves would pledge to protect it, beseeching Zamigdral to hide herself. When those of the Taladin had crossed the Aurupladi in search of Zamigdral, they found her in the Nightwood, sleeping. The elves pledged to keep a watch while she slumbered. Cutting from the stone, the elves erected majestic buildings. When Zamigdral
