Debrukii

Originally denizens of the forests and plains north of Galadron, the Debrukii people were hurled across the seas when Li-Ban ripped a piece of the world up and smote the One Flesh down into the water. Clinging in terror to the earth as it broke off, they fell with a terrible crash off the coasts of the Western Continent.

  • Hospitality: Let the stranger be welcome in your home. Never refuse hospitality.
  • Honesty

Common Etiquette rules

Laws of hospitality--if you share bread with someone, they're your guest, and you cannot do each other harm.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

Troscud: Sitting outside the home of someone who has done you an injustice and fasting from dawn until dusk. During this time, their injustice becomes common knowledge, and shame is brought upon the wrongdoer if they let you continue to fast.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

Simplicity, a lack of over-grooming (represents hard work and virtue).

Courtship Ideals

Both families are expected to contribute to a new couple's well-being. Whichever family offers the most wealth (usually in the form of cattle) will pass their name down to the next generation.
