Era beginning/end

The World Before ends, and from its collapse rises a bright new dawn.

There are no songs or tales of the World Before. Only the First Dragons, imprisoned behind the Seven Gates of the Silent City, remember it, and few have spoken with them.   All that is certain is that the death of the World Before led to the Dawn, and the birth of Anacra. So it has been for all eternity--song passes into silence, breath is drawn, and from silence springs forth a new song.   Into the Dawn were born the Sovereigns, the living embodiments of the Elements, and by them the thoughts and emotions of the Dawn were given substance.
