Drawn to the light of the Dawn, the Infernal legions travel through the Hungry Dark and invade Anacra. Led by their dreaded general, Uzhul the Destroyer, they seize the light of Dawn and begin reshaping Anacra to fit their desires.
The City of Light falls into darkness, as the legions of Uzhul and his fellow Infernals slaughter its inhabitants and devour its beauty.
The seven gates of the Silent City open, and the Dragons of the World Before burst into Anacra. They lay waste to the Infernals and their armies. Uzhul and the other High Infernals go into hiding.
To protect the world from the Hungry Dark, the Elemental Sovereigns spin the light of Dawn into separate planes of existence--the Four Kingdoms--and weave them together to form a barrier against incursion. The Firmament is created.
