Cernrae: Heart of the Wild

In contrast to the realm of death, Cernrae is the domain of nature, art, and the celebration in the beauty that life brings forth. The continent is a reflection of the awe that Auril sees when she thinks about the potential that the wilds and the elements presents. The land itself in a constant state of flux with what is known as The Shifting Seasons. Being the only land that experiences seasons, the goddess flaunts the beauty each season can bring by having each season only last 30 days.

Furthermore, the land itself experiences all four seasons simultaneously. Each season rotating slowly around the capital Crann, a massive tree that can be seen all the way in Sciath. The tree itself being a home to many denizens of Cernrae, many of which are less humanoid and more bestial or elemental in design. All of which are part of Auril's joy to see them go forth and populate the world.

Along with the beauty of the seasons, Cernrae trades in more artistic pursuits. Many artists from many different walks of life will find themselves drawn to Cernrae, wanting to stay there and draw from the natural inspiration that seems to just ooze out of the lands. Poets, musicians, painters, and even actors often find themselves sending their works out of Cernrae in trade to the other five continents.
