Mathghamein I, King of Cernoa

Little is known of the real Mathghamein, first king of Cernoa. If he existed at all, scholars assume he would have been crowned sometime after the first gnomish city of Tanatra was founded, resulting in the first kingship. Historians date the first Tanatran kings to about 300,000 years ago, and there are scattered references to a Mathghamein of Cernoa around that time.   Many thousands of years later, all that's left of Mathghamein's story are a myriad of folk tales, songs, myths, some obscure references on ancient monuments, and the memories of the very few creatures who were alive at that time.   In the year 1207 A.C., three members of the The Assassin's Vine, LLC encountered the demon Bhazmael in the ruins of Omu. Among other proclamations, Bhazmael announced, "I was there when Mathghamein was crowned king in Cernoa." If true, that may make the black abishai and servant of Othloa the Many-Headed one of three known surviving witnesses to the coronation of Cernoa's first king.
