Antlion Caverns

Antlion Caverns had been the home of a moderately-sized camp established for hunting Antlion larva for their meat and scales. After The Purple Worm Incident, the camp was destroyed when the platforms it was based upon collapsed. The camp had been elevated 10 feet above the cavern surface in an effort to prevent attacks by antlion larva. Many refugees from Anarium ultimately settled in the caverns along with the old camp crew, some stragglers found in nearby collapsed caves, and a small mining expedition with a few Viltevar. Directly after the incident the survivors made do in a cave connected to the more open, ant-farm like caverns themselves. After the arrival of our heroes, they settled not only that cave, but a nearby ancient forge and a forgotten facility. The settlement became known simply as Antlion Cavern.
