The Floating Archipelago is the homeland of the High Elves. Unlike typical archipelagoes that are found out in the oceans, this archipelago floats up in the sky above Tamerea. How these islands started is not fully understood, for they were in in the sky long before the magic levels rose back up to significant levels. There are some theories that these islands are somehow connected to the A.O.'s Homeland.

Geography

The 'Floating Archipelago' is made up of several islands. The largest of these islands supports a large lake at it's center. Together these islands slowly float along a loop that takes them up and down the coast of Tamerea.

History

It is said that the first Elves managed to reach the 'Floating Archipelago' by climbing to the very top of the tallest tree and grabbing onto a long root that dangled from one of the islands. Because the archipelago is constantly in motion, these Elves soon found themselves stranded.
