Mistwood

Deep to the north of the Kingdom rests a small fishing village, bordered to the east by sea and the west by dark pine forest. The small town, initially constructed to serve as a checkpoint station for the Kingdom's exploration into the north, the station became largely abandoned as expeditions became more and more rare, choosing to avoid whatever may be found in the frozen wastes.

Demographics

Not known for travel or tourism, Mistwood's people are often left to isolation for generations at a time - with the only contact to the outside world being regular shipments of ice and fish to Northbridge, when the town also pays their tax. As such, humans are the only regularly seen race from Mistwood.

Government

Mistwood's government is largely unknown, their isolation allows for a semi-autonomous ruling system. Like the other settlements in the kingdom, Mistwood is expected to either elect an ambassador or to present a stand-in for the kingdom's council. Since 7a 1082, Mistwood has abstained from having a presence in the council themselves, instead allowing Northbridge to speak on their behalf.

Industry & Trade

Mistwood's trade is entirely comprised of two government contracts: Bi-Weekly shipments of ice, and a monthly shipment of fish. These contracts more than pay for the settlements meagre taxes.

Infrastructure

The only known infrastructure and civil systems in Mistwood are the fishing docks - whose existence is implied by the regular shipments of fish - and the main road that leads to town.
