Neko
The result of interbreeding between Tabaxi and Humans, Neko are incredibly rare in the Kingdom of Acarius - as well as other parts of Aneirys. Some places in Aneirys believe the presence of a Neko to be a sign of change and peace, the physical manifestation of two cultures putting a bloody and destructive history behind them, though most still see Neko as something strange and to be feared or shunned; wholly believing their existence to be an affront to the natural world.

Anatomy
Anatomically speaking, the primary visual differences are the presence of both human and feline ears on the specimen - often considered to increase their sensory capabilities. Another key feature of a Neko is their tail(s). Apart from this, Neko stand shorter than most humans and weigh considerably less for their size.

Neko, being descended of Tabaxi who themselves are descended from various wildcats, have the inherent ability to see in the dark up to a certain distance. Moreover, they are quite graceful creatures.

Incredibly rare due to the violent histories of these two cultures in the Kingdom, Neko are sometimes considered either a sign of good luck and change in a settlement, though largely the opposite is true.
