Windswept Plain

The Windswept Plain is, as the name implies, a section of plains notable for the constant breezes that blow through. Known to be the primary farming location in the Kingdom of Acarius , the plain is home to large farmsteads and ranches. Notably, the weather in the plains is quite mild thanks to it's proximities to different biomes - the cool air from The Frigid Channel to the east mingles with the warmer air coming up from The Steppes to the south before veering off to the northwest where it settles over Sanctuary Bay's large body of fresh water. As a result, the plain receives a much lighter winter than other parts of the kingdom, though it does suffer from severe storms during those months.
