Nooxie

A mortal race of pixie-like pseudo fae in the same vein as elves, nooxies are known to be mischievous, carefree and oplayful in most circomstances.
While not the brightest of creatures out there, they are fully sapient, and actually think really quickly, however the quality of any one decision they make tend to be lesser than that of an average human, but if they try to think things through and spend as long as a human would to think about things, they tend to be about as smart as an average human, if not slightly smarter, though with a longer, more detailed yet somewhat simplified explanation about their actions.

Appearence

Nooxies, like most humanoid fae, have eight fingers and eight toes, their eyes have no whites in them and their eyes reflect their magic and even soul, being endlessly animated with facinating patterns that seemingly go on forever, should you manage to look deep into them.
Nooxies are tiny, roughly one twelth the size of a human, their wings are always a combination of pretty colors, and both their skin tone and antenna depends on the area they were raised as children and the magic they specialize in. Most nooxies that interact with humans look somewhat human, with a skintone reflecting the local race of humanoid they interact the most with, however this is not a must, and many nooxies have bark-like, green, ocean-like and even rock-like skintones complete with complex patterns that may allow them to blend into certain environments easier. They are also universally lean in build and are closer to the average height of women than men even after scaling them down to account for their small size.

Flight

Nooxies fly ratehr slowly usually, though they can move sqiftly in bursts at the cost of their endurance, and many can also use their magic to fly extremely quickly.

Magic

Natural spellcasters

The nooxies possessess wings that easily allow them to both fly and manifest their magic, while their antennas lets them sense and manipulate magic rather easily.

Fae presence obscuration

Nooxies also possessess an innate ability to hide from those who do not know where they are or do not believe they exist. This ability is less effective if someone is activly looking for them or know they are there, but to a creature or person who neither knows they are there noir are looking for them, or does not beleive they exist, a nooxie is as good as perfectly unnoticeable.

Spellcasting

Nooxies innately understand magic in combination with words, both written and spoken. It is not uncommon for a nooxie to use a random writing system or language for their spellcasting, as they do not need the language itself to hold weight, they need only understand what they wish to do. Nooxies usually use spiral spellcasting, creating spirals of writing that translates into what they wish to do using their innate talent in magic.
Most nooxies also possess a talent in illusion magic and all nooxies are natural wizards, even if they make for poor mages and sorcerers.

Fae Talents

As fae descendants, nooxies have a few special traits within them:

They never grow physically old, fading and leaving behind their memories upon death which merge with the aura upon their death, usually spawning a minor fae creature in the fae lands

Their natural lifespan is 100-700 years depending on their magical power

They can reacfh such a level of power where they gain the oppetunity to embrace a Fae Story and become fae in truth, losing their natural lifespan's end, being bound b a fae story and making them unable to permanently die from anything short of pure iron, turning them into a fae nooxy.
