The Guardian of the Plains and Grasslands, Plateous is often looked upon as the lead Guardian, and he couldn't agree more. He's slightly overconfident, and likes to see how close to disaster he can go to. This has led him to be caught by Barbro slavers once.

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Large on his frame, barrel-shaped torso and a small tail.
Body Features
Dark brown and tan fur cover his body, making him appear to have his rib-cage outside of his body. His face is flat, similarly to an owl, and looks like it's a mask.
Facial Features
Flat, white skin covers his face, his mouth is barely visible, even when talking. Large, pitch black eyes.
Identifying Characteristics
Nothing looks quite like him.
Physical quirks
He sometimes walks with a bit of a twist in his right arm, but no one knows why.
Special abilities
Once in a while, mainly if he's bored, he creates translators, nobody knows how, and he won't tell.

He sometimes is seen wearing a necklace of sorts, it has what seems to be an amber chunk in the middle.

If they are required to fight, he has a pair of claws on his front legs that can be very devastating.

Personal history
He used to be best friends with Coverticus, but when he nearly crushed Ichtytalus when filling in a river, Coverticus barely looks at him now.
Most of his time now is either doing half-brain ideas, or doing errands for Coverticus or Ichtytalus, trying to win over his old friend.
His favorite holiday is Christmas day, as that's when the Barbro youth bravely, and stupidly, decide to go mess with whatever animal with teeth they can find. Plateous often follows to watch or participate.

He doesn't care for 'all of that stuff', and thus, isn't interested.

He knows how to speak, and basic planning skills. Other than that, he didn't get a true education.

He has once filled in a few square yards of the Scar. That doesn't sound like much, but if you just filled in part of the 'unfillable hole' wouldn't you be proud?
Failures & Embarrassments
He once nearly fell into the Scar, and needed help from a passing Titan, who was glad to help the Guardian.
What his biggest failure is, in his mind, is loosing Coverticus as a friend.

He is terrified of fire, not that useful when the dry season comes, and wildfires are quite common.

Often stubborn, once he chooses what he wants to do, he'll do it. He is also bold, a little much in some cases, however.

Most of what he does is either to his enjoyment, or to somehow win over Coverticus again.

Loves to be adventurous, often ignoring his job as Guardian to do so. He hates young scratchlings, prefering the youth that are able to do stupid things with him.

He has a good friendship with a youth in Assesta, he mainly felt like giving the kid a friend is a good idea. The middle of a death desert isn't the best place to meet new people.
