Ankishar

The world of Ankishar was once a world presided over by the Totemic Pantheon, before a planar disaster occurred and the Elemental Planes collided with the Planes of Hell, causing the Elemental Planes to spill over into the other Planes, almost eradicating all life in the world and killing the planet itself. It was eventually found by the Supreme Order and remolded into the shape it is now. Not long after the Remolding, life was slowly seeded: plants, fey, animals and then sentient races were made and put upon the world to thrive. Less than a thousand years after Ankishar's creation, the Elemental Planes (now The Primordial Hells) opened up in a massive rift upon the Zurthian Peninsula, instantly decimating the land as devils and elementals poured from the Rift. This was the second, and the last time that the gods of the Supreme Order touched the world; for when they did, their very presence damaged the minds of their creations.
After the Rift was sealed and a Wall was created to separate the Primordial Hells from the other Planes, the Supreme Order returned to the Heavens; striking their forms from the world and obfuscating themselves from the minds of mortals.
The planet of Ankishar consists of 6 continents: the twin continents of Elohane and Valhane and the shattered continent of Udun to the West, the split continents of Esos and Phehis and the spiral continent of Quarun to the East. To the north and south poles there are massive glaciers of ice, with the northern glacier being large enough to connect the continents of Esos and Phehis to the continent of Elohane. There are also 4 main oceans: the Brighnach Ocean between the twin continents to the west and the western coast of Esos to the east, The Expanse of Windernear which lies between the twin continents, The Teal Domain that separates the continents of Phehis to the north and Quarun to the south and lastly the Frennan Abyss which parts the eastern coast of Phehis and the western coasts of the twin continents.
