The Spiral Continent of Quarun

The Spiral Continent of Quarun, named for its unusual geographic shape resides in the eastern hemisphere, just south of the Split Continents. Much of this continent is covered in a dense swirling fog that defies any who try to enter and only the very edges are visible outside of the fog. All attempts at entering the fog have been met with whatever or whoever entered it appearing out the same way they came in, leading to a few collisions at sea when this continent was discovered by early sailing vessels. All manor of magics have been used to attempt to cross the fog and have failed, and no forms of imaging technologies can penetrate it either. So little is known about this continent. Perhaps it isn't even a spiral at all.
