The Split Continents of Esos and Phehis

The Split Continents of Esos and Phehis reside in the eastern hemisphere of Ankishar, named for the long river that splits the two continents apart. Within the center of these continents lies the Harnan Sea with Esos to its west and Phehis to its east.
The continent of Esos is mostly ruled over by the Grand Draconic Union, with other smaller countries being ruled by dragons unaffiliated with the nation. The dragons of Esos claim that their ancestors were protected by the Totemic Pantheon during the disaster that befell Ankishar before the Supreme Order appeared. After a large number of wars and treaties the continent is one of the largest economic powerhouses on the planet, although they are not the most advanced one, due to the prevalence of ancient ruins within Phehis.
The eastern continent of Phehis is geographically very similar to its neighbor, but with far fewer dragons within it. Instead, nearly every year a new ruin is uncovered, with great and ancient secrets of history, magic and advanced technological relics within. The continent is split between multiple nations: The Hallowed States and the Clans of Es-March to the north, the Harnan Federation and the Principality of Gulrazi to the south, and lastly the Highbourne Monarchy, the Nanban Horde and the League of Economists between them. Much of the technology that can be found in the modern world can be traced back to this land; as can a great many of its technological terrors of war.
