The Iossorrian System
A quarternary star system, the Iossorrian System is the home of the Crownworlds, the ///Outlier Worlds, and the ///Exclusion Zone. The star for which the system gets its name, Iossorrian, is a blue giant at the centre, locked into place by the orbit and mass of the other suns it is paired with.
Closely orbiting Iossorrian is ///Crassus; a small red dwarf, Crassus only has two worlds caught in it's orbit and is most of the time completely eclipsed by Iossorrian.
The third star is ///Niaclova, a yellow dwarf similar in mass to Iossorrian and only slightly smaller, Niaclova is notable for having a majority of the ///Original worlds trapped in its orbit.
///Primus Octa is the last star in the Iossorrian system. A white dwarf, many scientists guess that Primus Octa was the original epicentre of Iossorrian several million years ago, an idea supported by ancient Original texts gathered by the ///Overseers. It matches the overwhelming heat of Niaclova being only a third the size with almost the entirety of the Outlier Worlds caught in its orbit.
Overall there are 66 worlds in the Iossorrian System, almost all of which having been inhabited or colonized in some way.
Geography
The worlds of the Iossorrian System vary, the majority of which being caught between Iossorrian and Niaclova for most of their orbit, making majority of the habitable worlds in the system hot and dry desert biomes. Many worlds are gas giants of variable types with established and competitive mining operations vying for the raw materials on each, the most notable being the operation out of the Crownworld ///Summerhold.
One of the strangest phenomena in Iossorrian is the ///stasis effect due to the numerous gravitational fields surrounding the worlds in Iossorrian.
