Gadoth
This land south of the Dornogovi River was consolidated from the Antigonian states of Basnadan and Heraklion and forged into one country under the iron hand of a warrior prince from southern Antigonia. Repelling all invaders from the north, it enslaved those it fought with and used them for slave trade with the Ugarrans to the north and cemented peaceful relations with those Wyrgan peoples.
Culture
This land was ruled and settled by humans, though quite a few Wyrgan called the barren lands to the east their home.
History
The Prince Brihim Malculinus solidified these two states in a civil war circa 1800 AH. This land, barren on one extreme and quite fertile and productive at the other, was held in relative peace for close to six centuries. It fell into disarray around 1250 AH when the ruling Prince Attiq Malculinus disappeared. In his absence, it was uncertain who should take the ruling reins and the various factions squabbled for control and the land fell into a tribal alliance.
Power in the area fluctuated and the people suffered greatly under this despotic and indecisive rule, plus they were beset from the south by the vengeful Antigonians. A warrior nomad and his horde of horse-mounted warriors finally established peace and united the various tribes under his powerful grip. This mighty warrior was called Bayan Olgei and he called the new country Dagestan. It remained thus until overthrown by the Khando lineage circa 100 AH.
