Military action
In early February the King attacks, catching many folks weary and unaware from their Imbolg festivities. The day is officially recognized as February 3rd as the holiday Grau Dood.
In May of this year, most of the outlying populace flees to the tri-cities for safety. While it reduces their likelihood of being slain by weapons, it causes overcrowding and thousands die of starvation and disease. This exodus to the cities is officially recognized as Trinity Day on May 21st.
