In exchange for a meal, Aesu gives his rights as first-born away while Yacoub dupes their blind father to receive Aesu's blessing.

Yacoub prospers, becoming quite rich and establishing quite an estate within the Sylvan Empire. The All-Father promises this land to Yacoub, saying his descendants will rule the east coast or the Covenant Land.
