Aunvyn
Lord Aunvyn awaits us all, in the Afterworld, where he sits upon the Ivory Throne. There he shall the judge the truth of us, laying low the wicked and vile, sparing the good to Green Fields. It is said the Lord of the Dead arrived late to the Empyrean Temple, for death was unknown to the gods. Aunvyn arrived with the creation of mortals, to ready the realm of the dead for their presence. His arrival is thus connected with the passage of time becoming a concern rather than just a matter of note, so it is that the hourglass can figure into many works dedicated to him. From his throne in the Afterworld, Aunvyn rules dispassionately, maintaining order over the dead. Though he judges who shall pass to the reward of Green Fields and who shall be sent to the Pale Lands, but he does not oversee punishment. That is left to other spirits.
Worshipers
Nicknamed Shakebones due to the pouches of bones they are said to carry for mystical purposes, followers of Aunvyn are usually given a wide berth, due to respect and suspicion. They are viewed as not-fully-of-this-world. Speakers with the dead, seers, and oracles, his priests take the words of the living to the souls at rest, and provide insights from long-past ancestors back to the living. Occasionally this will involve prophecy. In rare instances it's said they have been tasked with tracking down souls which have escaped from the Afterworld against the natural order of things. There are few major temples of note dedicated to Aunvyn in Korinthia. The largest one is in Ujen, with a smaller one in Kalimbrum. While an official temple does not exist in Calthas, the Spirtualist Consortium guild provides the same services and is staffed by the same adherrants. Dark robes are common, but green robes representing the Green Fields are also popular among the priests of Aunvyn. In either case, white threaded inlays are popular, representing the Ivory Throne. Priests often carry bits of ivory for luck, and it's common in the upper echelons of Kalimbrum society to hire a skilled carver from the priesthood to create a cameo before one's death to watch over the family.Depictions
Aunvyn is often depicted with sharp, angular features and skin pale as his throne. He's seen as cool, contemplative, intrigued with games of strategy. Symbols of time, such as the hourglass, are closely associated with him, but his primary symbol is the crossbones.Divine Domains

The Lord & the Messenger
There is a distinct difference between the portfolios of Aunvyn and Waymein, although it has caused confusion to outsiders. Waymein is responsible for souls traversing between the realms of the living and the dead. Aunvyn is responsible for the Afterworld and the soul that reside there. Within the Afterworld his rule is tantamount, but he has no claim upon a soul until it arrives. He is also only concerned about souls which have been taken or escaped from his realm beyond normal means, a soul which was destined for, but did not reach his realm, is Waymein's responsibility. There are, of course, extraordinary exceptions. The Blood War
Devils and Demons are a thorn in the side of Aunvyn, with their contracts for mortal souls siphoning what should be his. It took Aunvyn a great deal of time to realize this was far more than an issue of carelessness on the part of Waymein, but having realized it he set his earthly followers to purge the mortal realms of devil and demon alike.Cameo of Kalimbrum Socialite
