Bodaiya

So it was the Trickster convinced the Forgemaker to mold the heart of the star. This was the earth-forge and from the earth-forge he drew the world core and saw that she was beautiful. And as the fires of the earth-forge cooled, Bodaiya opened her eyes.
Everything that lives and grows is under the domain of Bodaiya. She is the earth-mother, bringer of seasons, and giver of harvest. She took Haepheron as her lover, wrapping herself in his seas. She created Thestia from herself and set her to watch over the hunters. Her grace grants feast and her displeasure famine.

Worshipers

Bodaiya is honoured by all who till the soil and tend livestock. She is a favoured patron in rural settings along with her daughter, Thestia, and Myander. She is invoked during periods of sowing and praised during the harvest. While Myander oversees childbirth and the family, Bodaiya and her priests can be consulted over matters of fertility.   Priests of Bodaiya tend to earthen coloured robes or robes reflective of the season. They tend gardens and bless the fields. Many deem it their mission to preserve the natural state of the world.

Depictions

Bodaiya is usually depicted as a mature woman, often pregnant in a sitting position. Other depictions generally portray her with generous bust and hips, all relating to her position as an ancient fertility goddess.
