Night of the serpent

The Night of the serpent was an assassination carried out by assassins from Ganameade .

The assassins arrived in Cambia and travelled to the capitol of Fireshell . They managed to penetrate the palace defences and sneak into the living quarters of the Cambian Royal Family .

Berylda, Dragon Queen of Cambia and Amrak Hammerbrow were killed trying to fight off the assassins, who then searched the quarters to find the chamber of Horden , then still crown prince. 

Horden fought and killed one assassin, losing an eye in the process and managed to knock the other unconscious. The assassin was arrested and interrogated, he revealed to have been sent from Ganameade. 

The aftermath of the night of the serpent was the cononation of Horden and the resulting Cambian-Ganameade War .
