The Wars between the Banished Ones, the Guides, and the people of Aos.

Everything was peaceful until Khajnak betrayed the other Guides. Over the eons of peace, he grew resentful. He felt that his brethren thought him a joke, he became paranoid and power hungry. He pulled himself away from his chosen race, the Orcs, and sought ways to gain the upper hand against the other Guides. His mind turned to the Celestial Jail deep within Aos. He traveled to it and was able to communicate to the Banished ones inside. He struck a deal with them, that made him the Lord in the wars to come in exchange for their freedom. He released the Banished ones onto Aos, and they began sowing chaos into the realm. The Banished ones however turned on their agreement and threw Khajnak into the Celestial Jail. The destruction of Aos was all but assured until Zayl Fyre founded the Guild. She gathered the greatest magic users, warriors, and priests from all across Aos. Together, with the help of the Guides, they created the Elderspell, a ritual that would banish all extraplanar beings from Aos. The Banished ones armies were bearing down on the Guild as they were finishing the spell. When each member of the casting was forced to sacrifice their soul in order to finish the spell, Their lines broke and the Banished army charged into the procession. Zayl broke from the casting an single handedly defended the others from the encroaching forces. And with the death of the most powerful people of Aos the spell was cast. The Guides and Banished ones were torn from Aos. And with them went all of the Banished ones forces. An unintended consequence was that the Gith were banished as well since they had so much of the Guides essence poured into them. However, since Zayl was unable to sacrifice her life the spell didn't fully complete. Small pieces of the Gods remained on Aos. Bits of each of the guides and Banished ones combined into a new sentient race, the humans. While other pieces shattered to the corners of Aos. And where they landed dungeons began to grow. Some fragments shot so high they wouldn't fall for millennia. The Celestial Jail shattered as well. But, since Khajnak was protected inside he was not forced from the Aos. He considered revealing himself immediately but thought better of it. He had no armies or any real influence, so to reveal himself would be suicide. He resigned to stay hidden, build strength, and sow dissent within his siblings creations. Meanwhile the Guides and Banished Ones began to slowly remake themselves. The war was over, and with it ended the Age of Reclamation. The Age of Resurgence began.
