Ringe (RING-EH)

The frozen northern continent. Some say that the things that call the furthest reaches of this continent home are evil beings, servant of a Dark lord who veil themselves in shadow and frost. Ringe has no nation but is inhabited by nomadic tribes with a few villages with loose ties that serve as gathering hubs for Frost Elves and the odd traveler making the Irilith/Imos crossing.   Ringe is separated into three distinct landmasses, each named for the three Frost Elf sisters who made it their mission to rid the world of the remnants of the Demon Emperor's minions. Vala in the West, Orla in the center, and Asharil to the east.   Asharil is the least hospitable, with it settlements being mostly abandoned due to the things that lurk in the snow. Asharil is where the order of monster hunters calling themselves the Ring of Kore operate.   Orla is the most populated of the three landmasses. The majority of the tribes of frost elves have settled in the southern region.   Vala is considered the least dangerous region of Ringe, though most tribes choose to make their living on Orla due to wild game being more plentiful there. The circular mountain range known as the Cold Tops is Vala's most notable feature.

Geography

Vala is a snow covered land mass with a circular mountain range known as the cold tops. It's north is a snow tundra while the Black Warden Taiga takes up the south. On the western shore a stretch of forest called the White Wood sits along the Cold Tops.   Olra is the largest landmass with its north and south regions separated by the Crookback Range. The land north is a vast tundra known as "The White", while the south is taiga full of elk, caribou, and moose.   Asharil is the harshest of the three landmasses. Most of Asharil is snowy desert with sheets of ice covering the land. In its center, Asharil features a circular mountain range called the Highland Mountains. These mountains surround a forest known as the Creature Path.

Climate

Ringe is always desolate, cold, and snow covered. Frequent blizzards make traveling nearly impossible to any unaccustomed to its climate.
