The Adventurer's Guilds of Vestri

There are three Adventurer's Guilds, one in Udad Dornar, one in Alstrea, and one in Olji Glang. The three are affiliated but run under different names.   The Heroes of The Oath in Argon   The Steel Syndicate in Faern   The Explorers of Aphirion in Rrinnoroth

Structure

  • Guild President: The Guild President is elected from among the three Guild Masters by a 2/3 consensus. While holding this title, the President is prohibited from maintaining any other position within their respective guilds to ensure impartiality. The President's role is to oversee all guild operations across Vestri and manage coordination between guilds when necessary.
  •
  • Guild Master: Each guild has its own Guild Master, the highest attainable rank within an Adventurer's Guild. Guild Masters are highly skilled, wise, and experienced adventurers, appointed through an internal election within their guild. With an exception in the Steel Syndicate, where the Guild Master is appointed directly by the High King of Faern.
  •
  • Guild Ranking Systems: The ranking structures within each guild vary significantly:
    • Steel Syndicate: Lacks a formal ranking system, operating instead through internal factions.
    • Heroes of the Oath: Uses a straightforward Alphabetical system that ranks members based on various criteria.
    • Explorers of Aphirion: Follows a military-style hierarchy with ranks named after different metals.

Public Agenda

The primary agenda of the Adventurer's Guild is to coordinate the efforts of adventurers and assess potential threats across Vestri. By organizing resources and expertise, the guild ensures that dangers are swiftly identified and addressed, safeguarding the realm and maintaining stability throughout the region.

Assets

Adventurer's Guild maintains a network of buildings in all major cities across Vestri, serving as hubs for adventurers to gather, accept missions, and share information. The guilds also collect dues from their members in exchange for providing access to these facilities, job opportunities, and their extensive information networks, which are crucial for assessing threats and distributing work.

History

Before the formation of the Adventurer's Guild of Vestri, various independent guilds operated in different nations, all serving a similar purpose. However, in 500 NA, a pivotal event occurred when the Guild Masters of three of the largest guilds united to confront a monstrous threat that terrorized the coasts of Vestri. Their successful collaboration not only forged strong bonds between them but also sparked discussions about future cooperation. Over time, these talks led to a formal agreementin 505 NA, merging the three guilds into one unified entity—the Adventurer's Guild of Vestri.
