First Strike
The first conflict that started the The Chaos Wars, some even called it Xylia's Uprising because of her contribution to the rebellion.
The Conflict
Prelude
The spark that ignited this rebellion came from Xylia, a lowly pit worker. She was a former scholar (biologist, herbalist) from a land conquered by the Atlanteans soon after they arrived. Luckily for her, GSD never fully suppressed her mind or broke her spirit. She stumbled upon a hidden chamber while wandering the mines. While searching the room she found a secret room, inside grew some shimmering flowers. After some testing, she discovered it's a natural counteragent to the GSD drug. Her discovery spread like wildfire, it became a rallying point and hope soon blossomed. The slaves united no matter the race.
Deployment
On the next full moon, during a festival, they attacked. This was a guerilla battle that was started by malcontents turned freedom fighters. Initially, the Atlanteans fought with brute force, sending their shock troops in.
One by one, both captured troops and the miner alike, have been taken to the secret room inoculated with the flowers pollen to begin the process of being weened off the GSD.

The slaves were newly freed from their mental chain and addiction.
Aftermath
The fighting lasted for over a hundred years. Some of the slaves weren't able to be weened off GSD, they either died or degenerated.
Historical Significance
Legacy
This started the war of freedom from the Atlanteans. A cure was found, now it is needed to free all from GSD's hold.
