Sir Jaspyr Foxtouched Clan, the Brave

Sir Jaspyr the Brave is a Foxkin Knight Errant (cavalier/bard) of the Order of the Shield. He travels the world, searching for those to protect those who need it. In most things, he is the perfect knight, but because of his size, temperament, and his mount.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Jaspyr is in excellent physical condition, he has a lithe, muscular body built more for speed and dexterity than for heavy lifting.

Body Features

He is built more like a humanoid fox than a wolf, with their characteristics.

Facial Features

He has a fox-like face, tall ears, short whiskers, and a perky nose.

Special abilities

• Darkvision
• Cornered Fury: when reduced to 1/2 hp or less, with no conscious ally within 30 ft, gain +2 bonus to melee attacks, and AC.
• Nimble Attacks: gain Weapon Finesse as a bonus feat.
• Silver Tongued: +2 bonus to Diplomacy, Perform, and Bluff skill checks.
• Quick Reactions: gain Improved Initiative as a bonus feat.

Apparel & Accessories

Wears an eyepatch, blue hat with yellow feather, yellow and black blousy shirt, dark reddish-brown pantaloons, a red and yellow doublet, green gauntlets with metal guards across the fists, shoulders, and knees. He believes that dressing well allows him to show respect and courtesy to others.

Specialized Equipment

Jaspyr plays a simple cittern, as his instrument. It is made of ironwood, so it is hardened to accidental damage. He also has a small drum and pan pipes, but his favored way to perform is to sing or chant.

Personal history

Jaspyr is a young Foxkin, that was born shortly after the The Chaos Wars ended. He was with the people that survived the Wars and so he trained to be a Knight Errant in order that he could help those in need. The survivors were in need for many years after the war.

He joined the Order of the Shield, to help in the best way he knew how. He was tormented by the other Lycan throughout his training, as they didn't consider him to be worthy of the position that he trained for. They considered him weak because of his size. His foxkin side gave him other abilities that gave him an edge that his size and weaker strength couldn't.

Education

He grew up in the Lycan society, they are a warrior-based society. His size caused him problems, so he was constantly at a disadvantage with his peers in training and afterwards.

Employment

He went through the normal weapons training for all the youths, but his Charisma also helped with his ballads that he mostly used his fellows as heroes in.

Intellectual Characteristics

He is smart but is often lacking in common sense. This makes him brash, with little care for his own life.

Morality & Philosophy

He puts others welfare over his own and embodies the Code of Chivalry.

Taboos

He will not kill an unarmed opponent (this doesn't pertain to pugilists and monks). A fair fight above all.

Motivation

He is searching for a way to prove himself to others. Jaspyr also likes to write songs about his adventures, his deeds, and ones that he witnesses about others.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

The Code of Chivalry is the foundation on that he bases his life, he took an Oath of Chivalry. He tries to be the best knight that he can be, but he is still learning. Jaspyr is young, impatient, brash, and overconfident, he is brave to a fault, rushes into battle with no regard for his own safety. His dog, Brutus is still in training as well, so is timid, and is untried in any large battles.
