The Travelers
The Travelers are nomadic halflings that live on Atlantia. They travel in caravans with one or more Olipeds.
Basic Information
Biological Traits
Travelers are short but their bodies are evenly distributed. They prefer to walk barefooted, so their feet become calloused, often the top of their feet is hairy.
Travelers are optimistic and cheerful by nature, they are also lucky and have a powerful wanderlust. Making up for their height with bravado and curiosity. They are easygoing and very dexterous, with an even temper and an eye for opportunity. They seem to be able to find humor in almost any situation.
They are opportunists and believe that they can turn any situation to their advantage, especially in business. Their curiosity keeps them seeking out new places and experiences, though they also possess a strong sense of hearth and home. They enjoy luxury and comfort; they consider the urge to devote time, money and energy toward improving their dwellings as a sign to both show respect for strangers and affection for their loved ones. They make their homes beautiful in order to express their feelings toward those they welcome inside.
Genetics and Reproduction
The Travelers are very prolific and have a proclivity of having open relationships. This helps with the gene pool, so no one is so closely related that it can cause genetic problems. One of the genetic mysteries with this group of halflings is that their DNA is dominant. This means that it doesn't matter which race that is the partner, the halfling traits are dominant over the other. The child might have small characteristics of the other partner but the halflings' shows more.

Culture and Cultural Heritage
Most of their concrete history was lost when their home city was destroyed during the Chaos Wars and they were enslaved by the Atlanteans.
Travelers rely on customs and traditions to maintain their own culture. They have an extensive oral history filled with parables about historical figures and heroes. They love a good story and boasting is common, and they commonly have contests with these holding center stage.
They prefer to follow Gods that aren't followed by other races, a few are even Travelers that ascended.Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals

History
Their ancient home was destroyed during this time, so they now travel in search of a new one. Most of the clans that survived left Atlantia to distant continents to get away from the Atlanteans slavers during the Chaos Wars.
The true reason that they travel has been lost to the ages, although a few bards say they remember. Some even say that they are Geased to travel until they make up for an ancient wrong.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Nomadic halflings are commonly driven from nearby towns after they have traded because they have a bad reputation for stealing anything that isn’t nailed down (sometimes things that are). Their communal society doesn’t have the same concept of property as most settled folk, they practice a share and share alike with everything. If it’s just sitting around not being used then it must not be wanted or needed. At times they pick up pretty objects and just walk off, and so are accused of stealing it.
They are often accused of cult worship, children stealing, or worse. They love to party, and others are attracted to this way of life, so follow the travelers to join them.
