Waveriders
The Waveriders began as a group of scouts in the Royal Guard. They have a royal commission as a special unit. They are an all-volunteer force, with new recruits coming every year. The current Prince sponsors and overseas them.

History
After proving themselves in various actions and saving the King and Prince in a border skirmish, they were founded. Over the years they grew in size, and now outnumber the Royal Guard. They are an all-volunteer unit and better trained if not better equipped, in spite of this. They are proud of their history.
