Lavender Salve Moth
The Lavender Salve Moth is a species possibly unique to the island of Palain the The Spice Islands of Kulubadu.
Their entire lifecycle relies on a species of tree, the Garva Fruit, for food and reproduction.
When feeding, the moth can pass on a 'gift' of a small amount of healing to anyone in contact.
The cocoons of the moth are a potent source of healing for Potions of Greater Restoration. As such, they are at heavy risk of poaching. The people of Pala have designated their habitat a protected reserve and the punishment for poaching the moth is death.
