Silvanus
Silvanus is the Aran god of forests, the wild and hunters.
Silvanus created the trees and shaped the shards of chaos left from Kek's destruction into the Fae, and later the Elves.
Silvanus is the deer, but also the wolf. He represents both the gentleness and the savageness of nature.
Followers of Silvanus are most likely to be found among Elves, druids and rangers.
Divine Domains
Silvanus is the god of the wood and the forest, of the wild and wilderness in general. Whilst offerings may be made to Lugh before a journey with a known path, prayers may be made to Silvanus for a voyage into dangerous or unknown lands.
Silvanus is said to be the patron of hunters, trackers and foragers. Silvanus may have had early connections with Dianekt, and also may be sought for lore on herbs and the like. He is certainly the one to consult on poisons.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
The Tree, particularly in an Elven style, is the most common sigil of Silvanus. Also common is the deer-wolf, a two-headed icon representing both beauty and gentility and ruthlessness and savagery.
