The Creator

The council of Aeva consists of thirteen different positions that follow a millennium-old hierarchy with one leader at the top, two advisers and ten representatives. Aeva Prithalis is the current leader of the council. Her rank is called The Creator - she is the first of her kind. Her title came into being after she sacrificed her mortal shell to the planet and created her very own realm out, making her the first person wandering Aradeia's grounds that was able to create something out of nearly nothing - in this case, an entire divine realm out of the core of her soul.   Up to this point, there have only been few who dared to challenge her position in the council and none of them succeeded. Their powers in alchemy and creation are limited, while Aeva is able to create nearly everything she could think of. To this day, her powers are unparallelled and don't require any form of validation or judgment. She spends most of her time judging and administrating her divine realm, asking her council and newcomers to Aeva for inspiration and motivating anecdotes.   When Aeva celebrated her hundredth year of leadership, she stated that there are more mortals like her living in Lorla, the Wilderness and Camorand City. People that are skilled and imaginative enough to create a world of their own; still, she only deems one person worthy of her title and said person has banished themselves to the foggy forests in the Wilderness close to the crystalline outpost. Many people have looked for this man far and wide - not only because his powers may be of incredible quality and wonder, but also due to his danger to society. It might only be a matter of time until her descendant appears on the surface again and Aeva is intrigued when this is going to happen and what miracles he is going to perform.

Qualifications

In order to become The Creator, you need to have extraordinary magical powers and a distant yet loving relationship with the people of Aradeia. Someone who is too close to the mortals and immortals might get too attached to them, making it nigh impossible to leave the mortal realm. Being too distant might signify disinterest in the mortal races, making you unfit for the job. It is generally recommended to get into the council of Aeva first, before thinking of claiming the highest title in the hierarchy.

Requirements

Your race, species and ethnicity is barely relevant as long as you are one of the Omni before you die and part of Aevan society.

Appointment

Since there has only been one creator over the entire existence of Aeva, no festivities have been held in this regard. Still, Aeva is interested in finding a successor someday. She promised to organise a wonderful feast for whoever takes her place as the realm's leader and creator.

Duties

The Creator is supposed to uphold a high living standard in Aeva and keep the continent of Aradeia safe and sound. This isn't particularly easy, since time doesn't work the same in Aeva as it does in Aradeia. In the end, your diplomatic skills, your abilities in combat and an open mind that is focused on problem-solving and harmony determine whether you fulfil your role or fail trying to do so.

Benefits

Being The Creator comes with many perks. You are treated like a god or goddess, you gain the highest rank imaginable and people look up to you at all times. Without any concerns, you'll become a rolemodel for many, are seen as a symbol of beauty, wealth and wisdom. Since you can use your creative powers freely, there is noone to scold or ostracise you. It's probably one of the best ways to ever exist.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

In case you use your powers for evil or destruction, you will be permanently dismissed from your role and banished from the divine realm. Aeva's citizens are obligated to influence the continent positively. That includes being someone who promotes development (especially positive progress) in the mortal realm. You don't have to be particularly kindhearted to become a member of Aeva's council - several of the council members are of a rather neutral, chaotic or mischievous nature - but you need to aim for a developing world in balance. Otherwise, things might turn grim for you very quickly.
