The Council of Aeva

Settled in the skies above Aradeia lies the divine realm of Aeva, home to the celestials or Aevans, as some call them. In the midst of their luxurious houses and lucious fields lies a white marble temple in which the council resides. Its thirteen members make up the pantheon of the mortal folks of Aradeia and create the basis of all mortal life on the continent. Currently, the following pillars uphold Aevan tradition:

5. The Inventor - Hassal Serpenthium, former lizardfolk (alpine salamander-humanoid)
6. The Cleric - Cassian Howlite, former chosen (gargoyle created from a statue)
7. The Scholar - Artemis Nafirian, former human (from Corcovah)
8. The Blacksmith - Ludina Swifthand, former halfling (from Lemdaux)
9. The Peacemaker - Pa'axi Heretta, former human (born in the Wilderness)
10. The Muse - Aventura Scintilla, former chosen (shadeling (halfelf))
11. The Bard - Embrosius Tiptop, former mixedfolk (faun)
12. The Alchemist - Korkrax, former featherfolk (from the Wilderness)

In regular intervals, these individuals meet up in the temple to discuss urgent matters in and around Aeva and Aradeia. These urgent matters include the laws and rules inside of Aeva, how to enter and leave the realm, as well as interference in Aradeia's everyday life. Aeva, as the creator of the realm, is still connected to the Aradeian continent and wants to protect its inhabitants as much as she can. She rules Aeva with a gentle persistence and cares deeply for her citizens, while maintaining a high standard for etiquette and living arrangements. The members of the council have been chosen due to their dedication to their people. They are considered as especially powerful and popular among the mortals. Each of them has their unique talents and skills that they can share with their mortal followers below. In Lorla and some parts of the Wilderness, there are temples and shrines built in their honour. Religious institutions and cults pray to them each day, making them more powerful by the minute, yet their interference with mortal life is strictly limited. Most of the time, their judgment is focused on Aeva alone. Only the creation of the chosen (lightlings, halflings, gargoyles) and the protection of Aradeian life is a reason to intervene for them.

Public Agenda
