Zuri Oakenhood

Zuri Oakenhood is a dwarven farmer from Foache, a good friend of Zekir, and an ally to the Chaos Crew prior to their kidnapping and banishment to the Tower of Beginnings.

Personal history

Despite claiming that they've lived in Foache their entire life, Zuri is actually a former citizen of Nul’Bawik. They were a member of the Nameless, the lowest caste, and following the untimely passing of their father had to care for their mother (who descended into alcoholism) and three younger siblings. In order to feed them all, Zuri joined The Garnet Hand, a powerful criminal organization. After several years of smuggling Anallusite in and out of Nul'Bawik, Zuri was caught and set to be executed, however managed to escape their fate thanks to the help of an old friend. With nowhere left to go, Zuri ran from the dwarven citadel and made their way to the surface. Once there, they grew out their beard in order to hide their Nameless brands and found their way to Foache, where they've lived ever since.

Chaos Crew Chronicles

At some point in the year 1065 P.A., Zuri and their close friend Zekir came in contact with several members of the Chaos Crew, namely Midir, Colibri, Felwinter, Kali, and Gael. They assisted the group with their search for the Ouroboros and Felwinter seemed to reach some kind of conclusion, however before it could be revealed what that was, the Chaos Crew members went missing. Zuri was left in charge of Felwinter's recently acquired phoenix egg, which has remained in their possession ever since. Several months later, Zuri heard news from Einhel that a mysterious group of heroes saved the city from being swallowed up by the Graylands. They recognized the descriptions of Midir and Colibri, leading to them writing to the Chaos Crew, asking where they had been and inviting them to visit in Foache. As both Colibri and Midir had no memories of any of their interactions with Zuri, the letter caused much confusion among the party, leading them to set out to Foache to learn the truth.
