Sand Stalker

The Sand Stalker is an elusive sight found at the edges of the great desert. This small snake, only a few feet in length, has a slender body and a long, pointed tail. Its pale yellow scales blend perfectly with the sand, making it nearly invisible to predators and prey alike.   While not dangerous to humans, the Sand Stalker is a skilled hunter, using its camouflage and agility to ambush small lizards, rodents, and insects. It is also an excellent climber, often perching on small rocks and branches to survey its surroundings.   The Sand Stalker is a shy creature, and it will usually flee if it senses a human approach. However, if cornered, it will defend itself by striking at the perceived threat. Its bite is not dangerous, but it can cause mild swelling and redness.
