The Djinni of Ri'kahra
Of the Djinni - genies, master of wishes - many a tale has been told. And nowhere else will you find more knowledge about them than in these lands. So listen closely, for there is much to learn and grave dangers await the unitiated:
The Hierarchy of Djinni
The unitiated person might not know, but even the djinni are bound to a hierachy:
Lesser djinni: These are the weakest and most common type of djinni. They are often bound to serve humans and can be used for tasks such as cleaning, fetching objects, and providing information.
Greater djinni: These djinni are more powerful than the lesser djinni and have a wider range of abilities. They can be used for more complex tasks, such as combat, casting spells and creating illusions.
Djinni lords: These are the most powerful and dangerous type of djinni. They are often ancient and wise, and they possess great knowledge and power. Djinni lords should only be summoned by the most skilled summoners in the prime of their power. Addressing djinni Each type of djinni has its own honorifics, which should be used when addressing them. The honorifics for the lesser djinni are relatively simple, such as "djinni" or "spirit." However, the honorifics for the greater djinni and djinni lords are more complex and should be learned from a qualified summoner. It is unwise to confuse a lesser djinni for a greater djinni, or the other way around. And it is even more unwise to address a djinni without using their proper honorifics. Summoning djinni Summoning a djinni is a dangerous task, and it should only be attempted by experienced summoners. The process of summoning of genie varies depending on the type being summoned, but it generally involves ancient incantations, and offerings to the world of spirits. One would also need to be respectful and well versed in the art of contracts - for that is what binds a genie Be aware you would need to be reciting a special incantation or use a magical object to seal the binding. Once the djinni is bound, it will be forced to follow your instructions, but only for as long as the binding lasts. Once a djinni has been summoned and bound (usually for a year, a day, and an hour), it will follow the summoner's instructions to the letter. However, a djinni will break free from its binding if it feels its life is in danger. Of the djin lords The fabled djinni of three wishes is a djin lord. Only the foolish, the brave, or those of great power would dare to summon one of these creatures. A binding of a djin lord is a very rare thing, for who could pit their mind against such a creature?

Are there any famous (or infamous) summoners of Djinni in the past?
Quite a few! In fact, this is such a vast topic that I have multiple articles planned for it.
