Imperial Mandatory Education

In the funded schooling provided by the Empire for all citizens between the ages of 5 and 12, the curriculum is designed to instill the principles and values of the Imperial Truth. Here is an overview of what they teach:   Basic Education: The Empire ensures that all children receive a basic education in reading, writing, mathematics, and history. This foundation of knowledge equips them with essential skills for further learning and understanding the world around them.   Imperial History: The curriculum includes a comprehensive study of the history of the Empire, emphasizing its rise to power, notable achievements, and significant figures who have contributed to its success. This helps foster a sense of pride and appreciation for the Empire's heritage.   Loyalty and Obedience: Children are taught about the importance of loyalty to the Emperor and obedience to authority. They learn that the unity and stability of the Empire depend on citizens faithfully carrying out their duties and following the guidance of their superiors.   Moral Values: The schooling emphasizes the cultivation of moral values such as honesty, integrity, respect, and responsibility. Students are encouraged to apply these values in their interactions with others and in their daily lives, upholding the moral fabric of the Empire.   Citizenship and Duty: Children are educated about their rights and responsibilities as imperial citizens. They learn about the various roles individuals can play in society, whether as soldiers, workers, leaders, or contributors to the Empire's growth and prosperity.   Cultural Identity: The curriculum highlights the unique cultural traditions, customs, and celebrations of the Empire's diverse regions. This fosters a sense of shared cultural identity and encourages appreciation and respect for the cultural heritage of fellow citizens.   Imperial Institutions: Students gain an understanding of the Empire's governmental and administrative institutions, including the role of the Emperor, the Council of Advisors, and the Order of the Black Knights. This knowledge helps them grasp the structure and functioning of the Empire's governance.   Physical Fitness and Discipline: Physical education and disciplined routines are integrated into the curriculum to promote physical fitness, self-discipline, and mental fortitude. Students are encouraged to engage in physical activities, develop healthy habits, and cultivate self-control.   Imperial Faith: The schooling includes education about the gods recognized by the Empire and their significance in the Imperial Truth. Children learn about the importance of devotion, participation in religious ceremonies, and the divine blessings believed to be bestowed upon the Emperor and the Empire.   Practical Skills: Alongside academic subjects, practical skills relevant to daily life and future endeavors are taught. These may include basic first aid, craftsmanship, agriculture, or other vocational skills that contribute to the well-being and productivity of the Empire.   Through this comprehensive education, the Empire aims to shape well-rounded individuals who embody the values of the Imperial Truth, are knowledgeable about the Empire's history and institutions, and are prepared to contribute to the continued success and unity of the Empire.
