Mary Dors
Mary Dors has no living husband or children, as both her husband and two sons died during the war against the empire. She is a widow and has no heirs, which has caused some concern among the citizens of Gloom's Reach, as they wonder who will succeed her as baron.
Despite her losses, Mary has a few close confidants in Gloom's Reach. One of her closest advisors is her steward, a middle-aged man named Thomas Blackwood. He has been with her for many years and is highly respected by the townspeople for his honesty and fairness. Mary trusts him implicitly and relies on his counsel to govern Gloom's Reach effectively.
Another person who is often seen in Mary's company is a mysterious woman named Isadora. She is known to be a skilled fighter and has been seen accompanying Mary on some of her travels outside of Gloom's Reach. Some people speculate that Isadora may be a bodyguard or even an assassin in Mary's employ, but no one knows for sure.
Finally, there is a young scribe named Josephine who works in Mary's household. She is tasked with keeping records of the baron's meetings and correspondence, and is often called upon to write letters on Mary's behalf. Josephine is a quiet and studious young woman, and is said to be highly intelligent and well-educated. She keeps mostly to herself, but is respected by the townspeople for her work ethic and dedication to her duties
