Dawn of A-Sarkat

Mysterious, serpentine threats begin to appear all over the Golden Coast, heralding the arrival of a mysterious god-like being only known as A-Sarkat.   The events of Secrets of the Golden Coast occur.

The Scarlet Suns, a mercenary company formed from the remnants of Ahmun Thundershield's ill-fated great caravan trip into the Great Wastes, learn of A-Sarkat's nature as a demigod offspring of A-ro, god of humans, and Sekketeth, goddess of serpents. Carrying this news with them to Amathos and Qiroth, the Suns are then unwittingly involved in the simmering tensions between An-Adhi and An-Akhar, accidentally killing General Afi of Qiroth. In the chaos of Qiroth being breached by both twin emperors' armies, A-Sarkat rises, reborn. The Scarlet Suns battle the demigod and slay him, bringing peace to the Golden Coast and earning themselves the moniker of "Godslayers". Emperors Adhio and Akhari are exiled from the Golden Coast and stripped of their titles, leaving a resurrected Afi as the sole ruler of the region.
