The Shadow Scale Cult

The Shadow Scale Cult was a race mutated by a powerful Dark Naga. He had stolen Humans and mutated them with dark magic in an effort to create it's own empire. It set it's eyes on the Dragon-Kin believing them to be a source of fascinating treasures due to their supposed connection to dragons. This Naga (Eshaaxa) knew that is small numbers wouldn't be enough and forced some lizard folk into his forces. His plan was to attack the Dragon-kin during their civil war in hopes that they crumble fighting each other and Eshaaxa's Nagashi  The Dragon-kin did put aside their conflict and differences to push against his forces with all their might. To make things worse for him, his actions had attracted a group of Goruda that would ambush important group placements and even attempt assassination attempts, which drove him into hiding, further distancing him from his troops. Sources say Eshaaxa was eventually killed but this is unproven. Either way the Dragon-Kin won when the lizardmen sided with them to help fight the Nagaji. Without Eshaaxa's power and influence The Shadow Scale Cult were quickly stamped out.
