The Temple of the Lotus Path in He Yong Pao holds deep spiritual significance for the villagers, serving as a center of faith and a place of solace and guidance. It was established centuries ago by dedicated followers of Helm, the god of protection and guardianship. The Temple of the Lotus Path stands gracefully amidst the picturesque surroundings of He Yong Pao. The architecture embraces traditional oriental design, with a pagoda-style structure that features a sweeping, curved roof adorned with intricate carvings of lotus flowers. The exterior is painted in calming earthy tones, blending harmoniously with the natural beauty of the village.   A graceful stone pathway leads up to the temple, flanked by well-maintained gardens featuring a variety of colorful flowers, including lotus blossoms, which are particularly revered for their symbolism of purity and enlightenment. A grand wooden gate with elaborate carvings marks the entrance to the temple grounds, inviting visitors to embrace the tranquility and spiritual wisdom within.

As one enters the Temple of the Lotus Path, a sense of serenity and reverence washes over them. The interior is adorned with vibrant tapestries depicting scenes from Helm's mythology and teachings, and lanterns suspended from the ceiling cast a soft, warm glow throughout the hallways. The central chamber, the heart of the temple, features a beautifully crafted statue of Helm, the god of protection, standing tall and watchful.   The main prayer hall boasts intricately designed wooden pillars, and large stained-glass windows allow soft, colored light to filter inside, casting ethereal patterns on the floor. Along the walls are ornate altars dedicated to various aspects of Helm's blessings, adorned with offerings of flowers and incense left by devoted followers.
