Ability Score: Goliaths are tough and intuitive, but not too nimble. They gain +2 Wisdom, +2 Strength, and –2 Dexterity.

Speed: Goliaths have a base speed of 30 feet.
Senses: Goliaths have Low-Light Vision, therefore can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.
Glacial Skin: Goliaths have grown toughened against colder extremes thanks to living in the frigid lands of the north for many centuries. Goliaths receive a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against all cold spells, and effects. The treat the temperature as being 40 degrees warmer for the purposes of cold weather environments.
Slavebreaker: The history of the Goliaths speaks of them once being an enslaved race. Goliaths have a built-in defense against being subjugated against their will. Goliaths gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against mind-affecting effects.
Words of a Slave: As a former slave race to the Dwarves, they developed a secret language that has been lost to time but is incorporated into the body language and mannerisms, making them pay more attention to people's body languages, granting them a racial +2 on all sense motive checks.
Nimble Bulk: Goliaths gain a racial +2 on Acrobatics checks and can use STR instead of DEX for Acrobatics if doing so would be advantageous to them. Goliaths can make standing long jumps and high jumps as if they were running long jumps and high jumps.
Powerful Build: The physical stature of Goliaths lets them function in many ways as if they were one size category larger. Whenever a Goliath is subject to a size modifier or special size modifier for a Combat Maneuver Bonus or Combat Maneuver Defense (such as during unarmed attacks, grapple checks, bull rush attempts, and trip attempts), the Goliath is treated as one size larger if doing so is advantageous to him. A Goliath is also considered to be one size larger when determining whether a creature’s special attacks based on size (such as grab or swallow whole) can affect him. A Goliath can use weapons designed for a creature one size larger without penalty. However, his space and reach remain those of a creature of his actual size. The benefits of this racial trait stack with the effects of powers, abilities, and spells that change the subject’s size category.

Anatomy

Goliath are towering creatures that sport massive antlers from their heads and stand a full two or three heads taller than the average human man, with incredibly muscular bodies and well-developed trunk-like legs to support their sizable bulk.

Genetics and Reproduction

Goliaths reproduce sexually with pregnancies lasting anywhere between 14-18 months. All Goliaths experience no sexual desire except for the late winter just before the arrival of spring.

Growth Rate & Stages

Goliaths are normally full grown by 10 and full-developed by 20. They hit middle age around age 35, become old around age 45, and reach venerable around age 50 and die shortly thereafter.

Ecology and Habitats

Goliaths are found exclusively in the Frozen Wastes of the Jadelands and on the most ice-ridden seas. They are almost never found outside of this region.

Goliaths age normally, growing old and infirm as their hair turns grey with their antlers growing wildly the older they become.
