Liberation of Lu Jing
The battle for the liberation of Lu Jing from Koryo control. This battle marked the first major success in the Northern Islands against Koryo aggression.
The Conflict
Prelude
Prior to the liberation, Koryo had a well-instantiated stranglehold on Lu Jing. In recent weeks, said hold was weakened with a combination of distractions via a Baishan-controlled dreadnaught fighting a battle in Grey Guard. Additionally, multiple airships which would normally be bolstering Lu Jing were temporarily relocated by Koryo for other military machinations.
Battlefield
The city of Lu Jing and the Lu Jing Prisoner of War Camp below.
Outcome
The prisoners of war were freed and the deforestation of the surrounding region by Koryo forces was haulted. The city was retaken and all previous Koryo forces were either killed or captured. A small ruling council comprised of various important members from Zhang Qundao, Freeholm, and the Krilan Village placed as interim government.
