Team Lion Fort
Originally consisting of Taago Silat, Raulk, Surin Tan, Sani, Bade, Taborlin, and Ka-Rin, the initial plan of the team was to take The Fortune's Favor to the Lion Fort in an attempt to aid the walled-up defenders. Ideally, this would have damaged the Koryo forces in the area and simultaneously recruit any remaining survivors as allies to the Longyan Clan's forces.
Upon reaching, the Lion Fort, the team realized just how outgunned they were. Instead, the team elected to drop kite onto a Dreadnaught while Bade flew The Fortune's Favor away as a distraction. The plan was going fairly well, with the party managing to fight off a good number of Koryo soldiers and a priest. The party had de facto control of the dreadnaught, exploring it to find a helpful Koryo conscript from Grey Guard named Biktor, an engineer from Baishan in the form of Ziv Finnel Arz Kantor, and some prisoners of war from the Southern Islands. That is, until a group of wyverns and their riders began to take back the dreadnaught. Bloodied and tired from their initial battle, the party didn't feel confident in their ability to fight off another wave. This was further complicated by a new faction appearing on giant moths.
With defeat looming, all team members minus Bade and Ka-Rin jumped from the flying fortress into the forest below. Unfortunately, Ka-Rin and a mostly-injured pre-sentient Bambi were left behind.
Following their drop into the forest, the non-marooned party members began trekking through the woods, trying to find their location and bearings. Eventually, they found signs of smoke and a crash. Continuing towards their goal, they came upon a clearing filled with large trees. Team Lion Fort also found The Fortune's Favor crashed in a small lake in the center of the clearing. Bade was banged up, but alive, though the ship was not in a flyable state. Bade and Surin looked into repairs for the ship while the remainder of the party undertook trials by the sentient plant creatures found therein.
After passing the trials, Team Lion Fort was invited to a village of the offspring of The Great Trees where they were able to learn about the floral culture and history a bit. Additionally, Taborlin learned more about the fate of his father and was challenged with an individual quest by the trees, which he obliged and set out on his own journey.
With the trees' help, the Fortune's Favor was eventually repaired into a usable state and Team Lion Fort left to regroup with the majority of their compatriots back in the rural islands of Zhang Qundao.
