Araknea

Araknea is one of the Creator Gods of Arbressian and is known to people across all of the continents and other planes of the world. She is one of the six Creator Gods who are considered to be destructive. Worship of Araknea is banned in most centers of civilisation with the notable exception of the Underdark where a large percentage of the drow who are loyal to her live in subterranean settlements. Her preferred form seems to be that of a gigantic spider with the torso of a woman with black skin, piercing red eyes, and long white hair like spider silk that stretches out into a web around her.   Out of all the Creator Gods, Araknea is probably the one which is closest to her mortal followers. She resides in a demi plane on the border between the material plane and the Shadowfell, deep down in the Underdark. Chosen drow may come and visit her in her lair, preferably with gifts in the form of living people - the more beautiful the better. At first these captives will be afraid, having heard of Araknea and her evil nature. Araknea will then skilfully weave a web of lies, metaphorically, that she is simply misunderstood and lonely. The people brought here have attacked her people so isn't it their right to defend themselves? However, Araknea just wants her people to be able to live in peace and prosperity and for the world to understand that she is not a cruel goddess. These are the kinds of things she will tell the captives brought to her and once they believe her and have sworn her devotion, Araknea draws them in close and pierces them through the heart, swallowing their last breath.
